Mirza Teletovic Loves Playing Against the Miami Heat

Mirza-Teletovic-Brooklyn-Nets

Mirza Teletovic shared his sentiment to Twitter on what he feels against the defending champions, Miami Heat.

Teletovic has every right to feel that way as he had an awesome line last game. He played for just 16 minutes but managed to score 17 points including three 3-pointers. MT3 (his nickname at the back of his jersey) showed that he can play defense as well giving fits to LeBron James and company with three blocks. The Brooklyn Game has compiled his big performance below:

His first victim is Michael Beasley, who thought that he has a sure layup, but Teletovic has other intentions as he blocked the shot. Also, LeBron James tried to shake Mirza’s defense but he stood his ground numerous times including a swat on one of the best players in the NBA.

His biggest contribution, however, may be the couple of treys he made in the last quarter. He hit a step-back jumper from downtown with the game getting close to comfort. His 3 made it a 78-73 Brooklyn advantage with just over 10 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter. He also drained another in deep rainbow country against James’ defense to put the Nets ahead 87-81 with 6:41 left in the game.

Btw, do you remember when he fouled James hard last January and got called for a flagrant foul? What’s funny is that Teletovic didn’t back down, instead, he laughed at LBJ. Relive the moment with the video below:
